Do you struggle using tables in Microsoft Word? A Quick Table might help, especially if you are using the same set of table formats across several documents.
Go to the Insert tab in the ribbon. Go to Table->Quick Tables, then select a table format you like. Replace the headers and data included in the table with yours.
Already have a table from a template you have to use? Add it as a Quick Table!
Select the whole table. In the same drop down, at the bottom of the display, click on “Save Selection to Quick Tables Gallery”.
Fill in the Name field. Built-in is the default category, but your table will display at the end of all the other built-in tables. For your table to display first, click on the Category drop down and fill in 01_ before a name. Any table you add to this Category will appear before other Categories.
It takes a little set up to add your common table formats to Quick Tables, but the effort is worth it!
